June News

June was such a great month!

I won the Daily Grand drawing 3 times and earned 250 points towards my share of the executive pool and 100 points toward purchases from TripleClicks!

I earned 100 more points towards my share of the pool because team members advanced in rank.

I earned 300 more points toward purchases from TripleClicks for bidding in auctions.

Finally, 23 more people joined my team!

All of that means my June paycheck will be even bigger and I can use my points to pay for more advertising. Yippee!

I LOVE my SFI business!

Hey, did you know you could be as excited as I am about your online business?

I have loads of fun and an increasingly secure financial future.

Come on in and take a look around. You've got nothing to lose but a little bit of your time because everything is FREE!

Oh, I almost forgot; here's the pick of the day from TripleClicks!

Small Business Mistakes to Avoid

5 Common Small Business Mistakes

Business owners should take stock throughout the year of how things are going and looking ahead to the future. Keep these 5 likely mistakes in mind.

1) Overusing Social Media

Although social media is essential, it is only one tool in a well-rounded marketing strategy. More traditional methods are just as crucial. It's enough to have a strong presence, but don't neglect other tried and true tactics. Take a step back and balance your marketing plan.

2) Not Using Paid Social Media Marketing

Facebook and Twitter have changed their delivery methods, so unpaid content can easily get lost. Prices for this kind of marketing are fairly low, so take the time to look into it.

3) Not Leaving Your Desk

It's amazing that small business owners rarely feel the need to leave their computer to conduct business. Modern business technology is undeniably cool, but you should also consider old-school methods that are worth your time and effort. It's hard to forge strong relationships using email. Meeting in person will make you stand out and stick in your customer's mind. Try a coffee or lunch meeting instead of exchanging emails or at least dust off the phone and TALK to your customers.

4) Making Excuses

It's easy to blame the government or the economy or any number of other issues, but you are still responsible for the health of your business. Part of that means successfully adapting to changing conditions.

5) An App for Everything

It's almost literally true, isn't it? They're easy, fun and some are really brilliant, but there are so many of them. Keep things simple. Evaluate which ones would make the biggest impact on your business.

I hope these ideas are helpful for your small business.
